Recorded courses teach the ChatGPT of the month they were filmed. During 2026 OpenAI replaced its side-panel editor with writing blocks, swapped its earlier agent feature for ChatGPT Work, and set retirement dates for custom GPTs. I teach the product as it stands on the day, on the plan you pay for.
Fit matters too. A Free account on a clerk’s phone and a Business workspace shared by a clearing office need different habits and data rules, so we build around the two or three features that save you time.

About 8,000 people live in Al Sila (The National, 2023), yet it is one of Al Dhafra Region Municipality’s six main areas and runs a full set of public services. Small teams cover the hospital office, the school, the TAMM centre and the veterinary centre, so an hour saved weekly counts.
Ghuwaifat, inside Al Sila’s municipal area, is the UAE–Saudi road crossing. Since September 2023 trucks there have needed a pre-arrival customs declaration and a Truck Crossing Permit through TAMM, with Saudi Fasah references for outbound loads: document work, where ChatGPT helps most if a person checks every line.
Over 95% of Abu Dhabi’s 30,000+ government employees have completed AI training, so awareness is covered; hands-on skill with one tool usually is not. What stays out of ChatGPT, and which plan an office needs
Most employers in Al Sila are government or government-related, so your ChatGPT use is governed by your entity’s approved-tool policy and data classification. The UAE PDPL, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, does not apply to government bodies or their data, and health data follows sector rules; it does bind private firms, clearing agents and shops included, holding customers’ personal data.
Without approval, keep work data out of personal accounts: train on invented examples, or my tool-neutral generative AI training in Al Sila may suit you better; where Microsoft Copilot is the issued tool, choose Copilot-focused sessions.
- Never paste patient names or anything from a clinical system
- Never paste Emirates ID numbers, passport pages or residents’ contact details
- Never paste unpublished circulars or classified documents
- No real consignee declarations unless your firm’s Business workspace and policy allow it
- Free: for learning and personal tasks; as of September 2026 it includes unlimited GPT-5.6 Luna text. Not for work data.
- Go: a cheaper personal plan that may show ads.
- Plus: the usual choice for one professional, adding projects, scheduled tasks and ChatGPT Work.
- Business (formerly Team): for 2 to 200 users sharing work, with workspace agents, company knowledge, SAML SSO and no training on business data by default.
- Enterprise or Edu: bought centrally; the only ChatGPT plans offering UAE data residency to new customers.

Start with Free, which as of September 2026 gives unlimited GPT-5.6 Luna text, and upgrade only when you hit a limit. Plus is the usual next step because it adds projects, scheduled tasks and ChatGPT Work; Go costs less but may show ads.
If you share files and templates, Business (formerly Team) usually fits better: company knowledge, SAML SSO and, by default, no training on your business data. It offers Standard and Premium seats, so not everyone needs the larger allowance. Separate Plus accounts suit people who work alone.
Only if your entity approves it; its data classification and approved-tool policy decide. The UAE PDPL excludes government bodies and their data, and health data has sector rules. Without approval, keep work material out of personal accounts.
Only on certain plans. UAE data residency is offered to new Enterprise and Edu customers, not Business. Under UAE inference residency only GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.6 Luna are available, ChatGPT Work and image generation are not supported, and web search or apps send data outside the boundary.
Yes, the mobile app supports voice. Speaking follows the same data rules as typing, and the result is read before it is sent.
It drafts Arabic alongside English, and writing blocks let you correct one line without regenerating the rest. We keep a short term list for consistency, and an Arabic-speaking colleague approves every public text.
New ones can’t be created after 26 October 2026, and existing ones stop on 11 December 2026, or 11 February 2027 for Enterprise workspaces with an approved deferral. They migrate to plugins, with instructions becoming a skill; custom actions and the chosen model do not carry over.
Yes, if your entity uses ChatGPT or you use it yourself: a session covers your plan’s features, your recurring documents and the checks before anything leaves the office.
