◆ CHATGPT TRAINING · AL DHANNAH (AL RUWAIS)

ChatGPT AI Trainer in Al Ruwais: Hitesh Motwani

Book me as your ChatGPT AI Trainer in Al Ruwais when your organisation has approved ChatGPT and wants it used on real work: shared projects for the standards your team cites, skills written from your procedures, and data analysis on sanitised maintenance exports.

The town’s official name is Al Dhannah, a long drive west of the capital, so most sessions here run live online around rotations. Room days at your premises are planned well ahead.

◆ WHAT STAYS IN YOUR WORKSPACE

What a ChatGPT session with me leaves behind

Sessions end with working assets inside your own ChatGPT workspace, not a slide deck.

A shared project per recurring document
One each for the permit pack, the weekly progress report or the clarification log, holding the template, licensed standards and standing instructions, so everyone starts from the same context.
A skill written from your SOP
Your method-statement structure and review checklist packaged as a skill: same headings, same hazard prompts, same list of open questions for whoever calls it.
Admin choices you can defend
For Business and Enterprise owners: sign-on, sharing, apps and model settings checked against your IT team's rules, each decision written down.
A migration list for existing GPTs
Which custom GPTs become skills plus reference files, and which relied on custom actions that will not carry over, before the December 2026 switch-off.
◆ THE ROLE

What hiring a ChatGPT AI Trainer in Al Ruwais should get you

A general AI course teaches prompting. ChatGPT training goes one level lower, into the product your employer pays for: which plan you hold, what it includes, what your admin has disabled, and how colleagues share work without pasting the same files into a hundred chats.

It also means keeping pace: in 2026, apps (formerly connectors) moved into a plugin directory, the agent became ChatGPT Work and custom GPTs were scheduled for retirement.

For plant and project teams I add one discipline above any feature: ChatGPT drafts, a named person decides.

◆ WHY AL DHANNAH

Why ChatGPT skills pay off in a town built around plants and projects

Al Dhannah grew from an ADNOC-built industrial town, inaugurated by Sheikh Zayed in 1982, and its refinery is widely reported at about 922,000 barrels per day. Construction around it is unusually dense: Borouge 4 is expanding the polyolefin complex, ADNOC Gas began NGL Train 5 in September 2026, Ruwais LNG aims for commercial operations in 2028, and TA’ZIZ plans 4.7 Mtpa of industrial chemicals by 2028.

All of that runs on transmittals, technical queries, method statements and onboarding packs: template-bound writing where a well-configured ChatGPT workspace saves most time.

One honest caveat. According to The National, ADNOC deployed Microsoft Copilot enterprise-wide in November 2023, and over 40,000 of its people have completed AI training. If Copilot is your sanctioned tool, train on Copilot; I will say so on our first call. This page is for teams whose employer approved ChatGPT: an EPC contractor, a supplier, a consultancy or another organisation working here.

◆ WHO BOOKS THIS

Al Dhannah roles I build ChatGPT sessions around

I group people by the documents they share, with one project per group.

Process, reliability and maintenance engineers
A project of licensed standards and vendor manuals that answers with clause references; data analysis on sanitised failure histories.
HSE advisers
A skill turning a job scope into a first-draft JSA in your format; toolbox-talk versions of approved procedures.
Maintenance planners
Backlog and overdue-PM analysis on a CMMS export, job-pack wording and spares justifications.
Procurement and contracts
Clarification logs de-duplicated in the Word or Excel extension; ChatGPT Work assembling a supplier comparison for a buyer to verify.
Project controls and document control
Weekly narratives from the progress sheet, condensed TQ and RFI logs, and a shared project per EPC package for new starters.
Training departments
SOPs turned into scenario quizzes, study mode for learners, and onboarding packs for new companies in the TA'ZIZ zone.
School leaders and teachers
Lesson resources, rubrics and parent letters from a shared project on an Edu or Business workspace, with no student personal data.
Hospital administration
Non-clinical only: policy redrafts, committee minutes, accreditation evidence indexes. Patient information stays in clinical systems.
◆ BEFORE AND AFTER, IN CHATGPT

Seven ChatGPT workflows for Ruwais site offices

Each runs on sanitised or public material inside the workspace your employer approved. Availability depends on your plan and admin settings, so I check both first.

A shared project for the standards your team cites
Before: five engineers keep five PDF folders and answer the same 'which clause covers this?' question separately. After: one shared project holds the licensed standards, the client specification and an instruction to answer only from those files with section references, or reply 'not in the project files'. The engineer confirms each reference.
Company knowledge answers with citations
Before: finding a procedure's current revision means searching three drives and an inbox. After: on Business or Enterprise, with company knowledge linked to sources your admin allows, staff ask in plain English and get answers citing the document.
A skill built from a method-statement SOP
Before: supervisors start from the nearest old method statement, so stale hazards travel between jobs. After: the SOP's headings, hazard prompts and review checklist become a skill that turns a written scope into a draft in your format, plus open questions. A competent person reviews and signs.
Data analysis on a maintenance export
Before: a planner loses an afternoon pivoting a CMMS export. After: ChatGPT's data analysis groups the sanitised backlog by area and equipment class, charts its age and shows its steps. The planner re-checks totals against the source system.
A scheduled weekly summary
Before: someone forgets to check for new editions of the standards the team follows. After: a scheduled task runs every Sunday over the public sources you list and returns a digest with links.
ChatGPT Work on a multi-step task, with a sign-off
Before: a buyer spends a day collecting public supplier information, filling a comparison sheet and drafting clarification emails. After: ChatGPT Work prepares all three; a person checks every figure and sends from their own mailbox.
Excel and Word extensions for the weekly report
Before: project controls rewrite the same narrative weekly. After: the Excel extension drafts variance commentary beside the progress table, and the Word extension fits it to the client template. The planner owns the numbers.

◆ YOUR TRAINER

Hitesh Motwani: how I teach ChatGPT, and the record behind it

I founded Skillopedia, a registered UAE company (Skillopedia FZC LLC), and train corporate teams in generative AI, working with UAE teams in person and online. I have trained professionals for more than 17 years, with generative AI my focus since 2023.

ChatGPT is where my book begins: Generative AI 360° (ZebraLearn, 2025) runs to 472 pages on ChatGPT, image generation and no-code automation for working professionals. I teach inside your workspace, not a demo account, and every workflow carries a checking step.

  • Per my and Skillopedia’s records: over 200,000 professionals trained in digital marketing and AI across my career, 600+ organisations named on Skillopedia’s client list, 16+ countries
  • Average post-session rating of 4.8/5 from 300+ surveyed participants (Skillopedia’s records)
  • Visiting faculty listing at K J Somaiya Institute of Management
  • Guest on Tata Tele Business Services’ Do Big podcast, on generative AI for SMEs (December 2023)
  • Sessions in English. I run leadership sessions myself; multi-cohort programmes add facilitators trained in the same method

◆ PLANS, ADMIN AND RESIDENCY

Choosing the ChatGPT plan and admin settings for a restricted-network employer

I do not know your company’s AI policy and will not guess it. I ask for the approved-tool list and data-classification guide first, then explain what each plan offers as of September 2026, so IT, information security and the business decide together. On law: the UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) covers private-sector personal data such as HR and contractor files; government entities fall outside it and health data has sector rules, so hospital and public-sector staff follow their own entity’s policies.

Free, Go, Plus and Pro are personal plans outside any employer’s admin controls, so company documents do not belong there. Business (formerly Team) serves 2 to 200 users with SAML single sign-on, workspace agents, ChatGPT Work and links to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and does not train on business data by default. Enterprise adds SCIM, role-based access, enterprise key management, compliance logs, IP allowlisting and data residency. Edu is the education equivalent.

The UAE residency trade-off is the paragraph most buyers here have not read. Per OpenAI’s Help Center (September 2026), UAE data residency (storage at rest) is offered to new Enterprise and Edu customers at no extra cost; Business is not listed. UAE inference residency limits chat to GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.6 Luna and excludes ChatGPT Work, image generation, internal search, improved memory and GPT-Live. Apps, web search and third-party GPTs send data outside the boundary; existing Enterprise workspaces should ask OpenAI whether they can move.

Custom GPTs are being retired: no new ones after 26 October 2026, and existing ones stop on 11 December 2026, or 11 February 2027 for Enterprise workspaces with an approved deferral. Instructions migrate into a skill and knowledge files into reference files; custom actions and the chosen model do not. The admin session checks:

  • Single sign-on, and on Enterprise, SCIM so access follows your identity system
  • Role-based access deciding who may use which features
  • Sharing rules for projects and GPTs
  • Which apps and plugins are enabled, since each is a route out of the workspace
  • Retention and compliance logging agreed with records management
  • Whether GPT-6 Astra is on: on Enterprise it stays off until an admin enables it
◆ SECTORS

Where ChatGPT fits across Al Dhannah's industries

Organisations named below describe the local economy from public sources. None is presented as my client, partner or endorser.

Refining
ADNOC Refining (ADNOC, Eni and OMV) runs a round-the-clock research centre at Ruwais. For contractors serving it: a shared project per turnaround package with scopes and lessons-learned.
Polyolefins
Borouge reports more than 25,000 people on site at the Borouge 4 peak. ChatGPT fit: QA/QC record summaries and customer replies drafted from approved data sheets.
Fertilisers and ammonia
Fertiglobe's Fertil plant has made ammonia and urea at Ruwais since 1983. ChatGPT fit: sustainability-report drafts from approved figures and procedure rewrites.
Gas processing and LNG
Technip Energies, JGC and NMDC Energy hold the Ruwais LNG contract; Tecnimont is building NGL Train 5. ChatGPT fit: interface registers, TQ summaries and Excel-extension progress narratives.
Industrial chemicals
TA'ZIZ has Industrial Chemicals, Light Industrial and Industrial Services zones, with a chemicals port due in late 2026. ChatGPT fit: young companies writing policies, with a skill per SOP from the start.
Education, training and health
ADNOC Schools' Ruwais campus, HCT's Al Dhanna campus, and the 122-bed Al Dhannah Hospital, run by Burjeel Medical City for ADNOC. ChatGPT fit: lesson resources, study mode, non-clinical admin.
◆ EVIDENCE

Where my ChatGPT teaching has been put to work

I have no Al Dhafra organisation to name, so none is named. These published examples match plant, procurement and leadership work in Al Dhannah.

Indorama: plant teams on three continents
Sessions for Indorama's plant and office staff in Nigeria, India and Indonesia, with fertiliser and manufacturing prompt playbooks. Sanjay Mathur, Manufacturing Head in Indonesia: “Started using ChatGPT right after the session. Great explanation, shared in a very nice manner.”
Beroe: analysts on data analysis
Research managers and analysts practised several LLMs, what ChatGPT now calls data analysis, and custom GPTs for procurement-intelligence reports: close to supplier research in a contracts team.
Jeebly: a UAE leadership workshop
In September 2026 Jeebly's Dubai leadership team attended my AI Excellence Workshop on tool choice, when an assistant is enough and when an agent earns its place, and prompting. Managers here need that conversation before switching on ChatGPT Work.
JSW Paints and Action Construction Equipment
Manufacturing and engineering mid-managers: the layer owning planning, quality and reporting, where most ChatGPT time savings would land.
◆ DELIVERY

Formats that work at this distance from the capital

Al Dhannah is about 240 km from Abu Dhabi, around 2 to 2.5 hours via the E11, so live online is the default and on-site days at your premises or a chosen venue are fixed well ahead. Teams further west, as in Al Sila, join online.

Live online, two-hour blocks
Spread over a week or two so day and night crews can both join, each person in their own ChatGPT workspace.
On-site workshop day
One team, one document family, ending with the shared project and skill live and tested.
Workspace owner and IT session
Ninety minutes on plan features, sharing, apps, residency and the custom GPT migration list, before staff training.
Leadership briefing
What ChatGPT Work may do, what to measure, and which decisions stay with people.
Coaching and internal champions
One-to-one coaching for power users and preparation for colleagues who support others afterwards.
◆ QUESTIONS

ChatGPT questions from Al Dhannah teams

Short answers on plans, data, the custom GPT deadline and travel.

OpenAI’s guides explain features; they do not set up your workspace around method statements, clarification logs or maintenance exports. A session configures shared projects and skills for your documents and rules, and teaches the checking habits that keep drafts safe.

Usually not. Train on whatever your IT team approved; if that is Copilot, ask me about Copilot sessions. ChatGPT training suits teams licensed on Business, Enterprise or Edu.

A managed plan: Business for 2 to 200 users, or Enterprise when you need SCIM, role-based access, compliance logs or data residency. Personal accounts sit outside your admin’s control. I explain the options; IT and security choose.

Data residency alone keeps stored data in the UAE for new Enterprise and Edu customers. Inference residency goes further and, as of September 2026, removes ChatGPT Work, image generation and some memory and search features. Apps and web search still send data outside the boundary.

They stop working on 11 December 2026 (later only with an approved Enterprise deferral), and none can be created after 26 October. Each becomes a skill with reference files, but custom actions do not carry over, so I help teams decide which to rebuild.

On sanitised versions, yes. Drawings, P&IDs, process data and personnel records stay out, and exports lose tags and names where your rules require it.

Yes, by arrangement, and I run the sessions sold under my name. Room days are booked well ahead because of the distance; many teams prefer live online blocks.

It can prepare the work: gathering public information, filling a sheet, drafting emails. A person checks every figure and sends from their own account. Under UAE inference residency it is unavailable.

Using the team’s shared projects and skills on at least three recurring documents, and citing sources for file-based answers. A follow-up clinic fixes what did not hold up.

Tell me your ChatGPT plan and one document you write every week

Include the team, the plan, whether custom GPTs are in use, and a sanitised sample. I will reply with a session outline and a format that fits your rotation. Contracting is through Skillopedia FZC LLC, a registered UAE company, NDA available; quotes itemise format, group size, preparation and travel.
