FREE AI TRAINING IN DUBAI

Free AI Courses in Dubai for Working Professionals (2026)

Yes, good free AI training exists in Dubai. The one most working professionals can join is One Million Prompters: free, online, four one-hour modules and a certificate. Two other Dubai programmes are free too, but only for creative professionals or government staff. Here is who qualifies, what you get, and where free stops.

One Million Prompters, in plain English

Registrations opened on 15 January 2025. The aim is to teach one million people prompt skills over three years. It is a Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence initiative, and you sign up at dub.ai/en/omp.

Here is what the four modules cover, in order:

1
AI basics
What generative AI is and what prompt literacy means.
2
Talking to chatbots
Hands-on demos with tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude.
3
Productivity
Using AI on email, data and routine tasks.
4
Creative tools
Image, music and video tools such as Midjourney and Runway.

To join, register with your name, email, phone, job title and experience level, then confirm your email. You finish with a certificate in AI prompt literacy. Treat it as a useful line on your CV, not a formal qualification.

What four free hours will and will not do

It will
  • Teach you to write a clear prompt
  • Show you the main tools side by side
  • Take the fear out of getting started
  • Give you a certificate to show
It will not
  • Know your industry or your files
  • Teach safe handling of client data
  • Review your actual work and give feedback
  • Turn a team into a group that works the same way

That last list is my opinion, and it comes from what a one-hour, self-paced module can reasonably cover. It is not a criticism. Free training is a good first step. It is just not the whole staircase.

Which path fits you?

You are starting alone
Do One Million Prompters this week. It costs you four hours and nothing else.
You already use ChatGPT and want it at work
Finish the free course, then practise on one real task a week. Add a paid workshop only if you want feedback on your own work.
You lead a team or a company
Free courses give each person a start. A shared method, shared rules and practice on real work is a different job.

A four-week plan using only free resources

1
Week 1
Finish the four modules and note two things you want to try.
2
Week 2
Pick one task you repeat, such as a weekly report, and redo it with AI. Time it.
3
Week 3
Save your three best prompts. Write down which data you will never paste in.
4
Week 4
Show one colleague and compare results. Decide what is still missing.

If by week four you are saving time and staying safe, you may not need a paid course. That is a real outcome, and I would rather you reach it than buy something you do not need. Our guide to an AI usage policy for UAE teams covers the data rule from week three.

When free is not enough

Free stops working when ten people use AI ten different ways, when your data is regulated, or when you need results this quarter. Hitesh’s sessions are built around your role and your files, with follow-up after the day.

Questions people ask

The sign-up form asks for country of residence and does not appear to limit entry to Dubai residents, and it is described as aimed at learners worldwide. Confirm the current rules on the official site before you register.
It is a certificate of completion for prompt literacy from a Dubai government initiative. Many employers will read it as a sign of initiative. It is not a degree or a formal accredited qualification.
The chatbot module includes hands-on demos with ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude, according to the published module outline.
Four modules of about one hour each, so roughly four hours. You can spread them across a week.
Coverage from mid-2026 still lists it as open. Programmes like this can change their terms, so check the official page before you rely on it.
