AI Training for Colleges & Universities in Dubai — for faculty, staff and students

Students in Dubai already use AI on almost every assignment. Faculty are split between banning it and quietly using it themselves. Neither works for long. Institutions need a shared approach: teaching that uses AI well, assessment that still measures learning, and staff who are confident with the tools.

I run hands-on AI training for colleges and universities in Dubai — for faculty, academic leaders, administrative staff and students — built on your own courses, assessments and academic integrity policy.

What a hands-on session for faculty looks like

Faculty work on their own courses: redesigning one assessment, building one AI-assisted learning activity, and drafting the guidance students will see.

You bring
  • One course outline and one current assessment per participant
  • Your academic integrity and AI policy, if you have one
  • The AI tools your institution provides to staff and students
We build in the room
  • One assessment redesigned to be AI-resilient
  • An AI-assisted learning activity for a real class
  • Clear AI-use guidance written for students
You leave with
  • Redesigned assessments ready for next term
  • A faculty prompt library for course design and feedback
  • A department-level AI guideline draft
  • A 30-day check-in

Work out the return on your own numbers

I don’t publish other organisations’ savings, because I can’t verify what happened in their business after I left. This uses your inputs and updates live. Nothing is sent anywhere.

On your inputs

Read this honestly. Recovered hours are worth money only if they go somewhere — more cases closed, faster turnaround, hiring you no longer need. That is why each engagement ends with a 30-day review of which outputs actually changed.

Higher education in Dubai

What Dubai institutions need from AI training

Dubai’s higher-education sector is unusually international: branch campuses of universities from the UK, Australia, India and elsewhere sit alongside local institutions in Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Knowledge Park and across the city. Private institutions in Dubai’s free zones are overseen by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), while federally licensed programmes are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation.

That mix means AI policies differ between institutions — and sometimes between departments on one campus, when a home university sets its own rules. Training starts with your policy, or helps you draft one, so faculty and students hear one consistent message.

Dubai’s AI strategy puts AI education firmly on the agenda, and employers will expect graduates to use AI responsibly from day one. Institutions that teach it well give their students a real advantage.

Questions

Questions from colleges and universities

Should universities ban AI?

Bans are hard to enforce and leave students unprepared for work. Most institutions do better with clear rules: where AI is allowed, how it must be declared, and assessments designed so learning is still measured.

Can AI detectors catch AI-written work?

Not reliably. They produce false positives and can be bypassed. Training focuses on assessment design and transparent declaration rather than detection alone.

Do you train students as well as faculty?

Yes. A short AI-literacy session for students works well alongside faculty training, so both hear the same rules and expectations.

Which AI tools do you use in training?

The tools your institution provides — commonly Microsoft Copilot, Gemini for Education or ChatGPT Edu — or a mix if staff and students use different ones.

Can you help us write an AI policy?

Yes. I can facilitate a session to draft or revise your academic AI guidelines; final approval sits with your academic governance bodies.

Do you work with schools?

This page is for colleges and universities. For younger learners there are separate AI courses for kids and teenagers in Dubai.

Can sessions run for a whole faculty at once?

Yes. Large groups suit a keynote-style briefing followed by smaller hands-on workshops by department.
