Vietnam's AI law and what it means for Gemini skills
Vietnam's National Assembly passed the country's first Law on Artificial Intelligence in December 2025, and it came into force on 1 March 2026. Its risk-based approach to data, AI use and accountability gives organisations a concrete reason to train people before they rely on assistants such as Gemini. The law sits alongside personal data protection rules that began with Decree 13/2023, so companies now have to think about both what AI does and what information employees feed into it.
