Why teams choose this programme

Why Mumbai companies bring Hitesh in for generative AI training

Most AI courses in Mumbai stop at a demo. This programme is built backwards from the work your team already does every week, and it ends when that work gets faster, not when the session ends.

Based in Mumbai

On-site sessions anywhere from Colaba to Thane and Navi Mumbai, with no travel or stay costs added to your budget.

Built on your own work

No off-the-shelf decks. Exercises use your reports, proposals, policies and spreadsheets, with sensitive details masked.

Every major tool

ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini, taught side by side, so people learn which one to use for which job.

From the board to the floor

Leadership briefings, manager sessions, function-wise labs and a technical track, all in one programme.

Governance from day one

Approved-tool lists, data rules and review habits framed around India's DPDP Act and your own policies.

Adoption, not attendance

Every participant leaves with a prompt library and a 30-day plan, and I check back on what stuck.

Where we train

Generative AI training across Mumbai's business districts

Mumbai is not one market. A compliance-heavy bank in BKC, an agency in Lower Parel and a global capability centre in Powai need different examples, different rules and different tools. Each area page below explains how the programme changes for the companies that cluster there.

BANDRA · BKC

Bandra and BKC

Banks, capital markets, insurers, consulting and law firms. Review-ready credit notes, research and client reporting under tight data rules.

LOWER PAREL · WORLI

Lower Parel and Worli

Media, advertising, fund houses, brokerages and fintechs in the mill-land towers. Content at volume and investor communication that stays compliant.

NARIMAN POINT · FORT

Nariman Point, Fort and Churchgate

Group head offices, banks and insurers, shipping and trade firms, CA practices and law chambers. Board briefings and document-heavy work.

ANDHERI

Andheri, SEEPZ and MIDC

Exporters, pharma, back offices and media production. Export paperwork, regulatory drafting and content workflows.

POWAI · VIKHROLI

Powai and Vikhroli

Global capability centres, tech start-ups and manufacturing head offices. The most technical track: Claude Code, agents and evaluation.

NAVI MUMBAI

Navi Mumbai

Large IT and operations campuses in Airoli, Ghansoli and Mahape, plus port and logistics firms. Academy-style training at scale.

KHAR

Khar

Agencies, studios and founder-led brands. Small-team coaching on campaigns, decks and content.

SANTACRUZ

Santacruz

Travel, aviation services, logistics and education near Kalina. Operations writing, SOPs and customer communication.

Teams in Thane, Goregaon, Malad and the rest of the MMR are trained on-site too. Thane's mid-sized manufacturers and family businesses, the IT and back-office parks around Goregaon and Malad, and the event and media companies near NESCO and Film City each get exercises built on their own work. Ask for your location on the scoping call.

Mumbai use cases

What generative AI changes for Mumbai's main industries

Banking, NBFCs and insurance
Today

Analysts rebuild the same credit notes, portfolio commentaries and policy summaries from scratch every cycle.

With AI

A shared assistant drafts from approved templates; people check figures against source and log what changed.

Capital markets and fund houses
Today

Fund commentaries, research summaries and client letters take days of drafting and compliance back-and-forth.

With AI

First drafts come from the data pack in an hour, with a checklist of claims the compliance team must verify.

Media, advertising and content
Today

Campaign variants, scripts and pitch decks are written by hand under deadline, one version at a time.

With AI

Teams brief AI with the brand voice and produce ten directions to choose from, then craft the best two.

Shipping, trade and logistics
Today

Shipment updates, document checks and customer emails are stitched together from inboxes and trackers.

With AI

AI reads saved documents and builds status packs and draft replies; a person approves anything that goes out.

Pharma and healthcare
Today

Regulatory and medical writing teams summarise long guidance documents and draft standard responses manually.

With AI

Summaries and first drafts come from the source files with every claim referenced, ready for expert review.

Professional services and CA firms
Today

Research memos, proposals and client follow-ups eat the hours that should go to judgement and review.

With AI

Research starts from a cited brief and proposals from a reusable template, so partners review rather than rewrite.

A Mumbai example

What a one-day workshop looks like for a Mumbai finance team

An illustrative day, based on the format I run most often. Your exercises are built from your own work, so the details change; the shape does not.

Before the day

On the scoping call, the head of finance names three jobs that eat the month-end: the management commentary on monthly numbers, vendor query emails, and summarising long contracts and circulars for the leadership team. The team sends sample files with names and amounts masked, and IT confirms which AI tool the company has approved.

Morning

  1. A short session on what the approved tool can and cannot be trusted with, using a real example of a confident but wrong answer.
  2. Each person rewrites a weak prompt for the monthly commentary until the first draft is usable, then compares it against last month’s final version.
  3. The team agrees a two-minute checking routine: totals against source, every number traced, every claim either cited or removed.

Afternoon

  1. Contract and circular summaries in a fixed format, with page references so a reviewer can verify each point.
  2. A shared assistant (a Claude Project, Custom GPT or Copilot agent, depending on the approved tool) loaded with the team’s templates and tone.
  3. A 30-day plan: who uses which prompt for which job, and how the team will count hours saved.

Nobody leaves with a certificate alone. They leave with prompts, an assistant and a plan that their manager has seen.

How the training works

A six-step, hands-on method

Step 1

Scoping call

We map your teams, tools, data rules and the five to ten tasks worth targeting first.

Step 2

Custom build

I rebuild exercises around your documents and workflows, with sensitive data masked.

Step 3

Live practice

Every participant works on a laptop, on real tasks. Demos are kept to a minimum.

Step 4

Prompt library

The best prompts from the room become a shared library your team keeps using.

Step 5

Assistants and automations

We build a Claude Project, Custom GPT, Gemini Gem or Copilot agent for one repeat job.

Step 6

30-day check

I check back on what people kept using and fix what didn't stick.

Choosing the tool

Which AI tool fits which Mumbai team

Many companies in Mumbai already pay for at least one AI tool. The programme is built around the one you have approved, but it helps to know where each tool is strongest.

ToolUsually the right choice whenTypical Mumbai usersTraining page
Microsoft 365 CopilotYour company runs on Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel and wants AI inside them, under existing Microsoft security and compliance settings.Banks, insurers, large corporates, IT and operations campusesCopilot training in Mumbai
ChatGPT (Business or Enterprise)Teams want a flexible general assistant for writing, research, data analysis and Custom GPTs shared across a department.Agencies, consultancies, sales and marketing teams, start-upsChatGPT training in Mumbai
Claude (Team or Enterprise)The work involves long documents, careful drafting, file-based tasks with Cowork, or coding with Claude Code.Law and CA firms, research teams, document-heavy back offices, engineering teamsClaude workshop, Cowork, Claude Code
Google GeminiYour company uses Google Workspace and wants AI inside Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet.Start-ups, D2C brands, education and media companies on WorkspaceGemini training in Mumbai

Many companies use two tools: one inside the office suite for everyone, and a second, more capable assistant for specialist teams. Where that is the case, the training shows people which tool to open for which job, so they do not paste the same task into both.

Before you hire

How to choose a corporate AI trainer in Mumbai

Generative AI training is now offered by large academies, software resellers, independent trainers and in-house teams. The right choice depends on what you need, but a few questions separate a programme that changes how people work from one that fills a training calendar.

Ask to see a customised outline before you sign, not a standard brochure. Ask how much of the day is hands-on, and on whose documents. Ask how data and confidentiality will be handled, and whether the trainer will work within your approved tools rather than pushing a favourite. And ask what happens after the session: a programme without any follow-up usually fades within a month. A good trainer will also tell you which tasks AI should not be used for in your business, not just where it shines.

If you are comparing trainers, the top generative AI trainers in Mumbai list sets out the options side by side.

Questions worth asking any trainer

  • Will the outline be built on our work?
  • How much of each session is hands-on?
  • Which tools do you train, and do you sell any?
  • How will our data rules be handled?
  • What follow-up happens after 30 days?
  • Can we speak to the person who will train us?

The business case

Why Mumbai employers are investing in AI skills now

Many Mumbai companies already pay for AI tools: Microsoft 365 Copilot licences in banks and insurers, ChatGPT or Claude business plans in agencies and consultancies, and Gemini inside Google Workspace at start-ups. The gap is rarely the licence. It is that people use the tool for one or two simple tasks and go back to the old way for everything else.

Training closes that gap in three ways. It shows people the jobs where AI genuinely saves time in their role. It gives them a habit for checking output, so managers trust what comes back. And it puts a governance frame around the tools, so compliance can approve wider use instead of blocking it.

What your team walks out able to do

  • Draft reports, notes and decks in a fraction of the time
  • Interrogate spreadsheets, contracts and PDFs with AI
  • Build an assistant on approved documents
  • Check AI output before it reaches a client
  • Automate one recurring report or follow-up
  • Lead adoption in their own department

Doing it safely

Data rules for Mumbai employers, and the formats that fit

Mumbai's largest employers are regulated: banks and NBFCs answer to the RBI, listed companies and fund houses to SEBI, and every company that handles personal data falls under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. The DPDP Rules were notified in November 2025, and the main obligations are being phased in.

Training cannot replace legal advice, but it can stop the most common mistakes. Every programme sets out which tools are approved, what must never be pasted into a public model, how outputs are reviewed before they reach a client, and who owns the policy. Your compliance team is welcome to review the material beforehand.

Agreed before the first session

  • Approved tools and plans
  • Data that must stay out of AI tools
  • Masking rules for exercise files
  • Who reviews AI output, and how
  • Where the prompt library will live

After the training

How results are tracked after the session

A training day is only worth its cost if the habits stick. Every Mumbai programme ends with a short adoption plan that the team's manager has seen, and a check-in after 30 days to see what actually changed.

The check-in is simple and honest. Which prompts and assistants are people still using? Which tasks have moved to AI, and roughly how much time does each save? Where did people stop, and why: unclear rules, the wrong tool, or a task that AI genuinely does badly? The answers decide the next step, whether that is a refresher for one team, a deeper track for another, or a governance change that unblocks wider use.

What the 30-day check looks at

  • Prompts and assistants still in use
  • Tasks moved to AI, and time saved
  • Where adoption stalled, and why
  • Rules or access that need changing
  • The next team or track to train
Questions

Generative AI training in Mumbai: common questions

Who is the best generative AI trainer in Mumbai?

That depends on what your team needs. Hitesh Motwani is a Mumbai-based corporate AI trainer who has trained over 2,00,000 professionals from more than 600 organisations, has worked with teams at Tata Motors, Flipkart and Hitachi, and wrote Generative AI 360°. Ask any trainer you shortlist for a customised outline and how they measure adoption after the session.

Do you train on-site at our office in Mumbai?

Yes. On-site sessions are the usual format anywhere in Mumbai, including South Mumbai, BKC, Lower Parel, Andheri, Powai, Goregaon, Thane and Navi Mumbai. Teams split across cities can join live online.

Is this a public course or in-house corporate training?

It is in-house corporate training, built for your team on your own documents and workflows. It is not a public batch that individuals sign up for.

Which AI tools does the training cover?

ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini, plus assistants such as Claude Projects, Custom GPTs and Gemini Gems, and simple agents. If your company has standardised on one tool, the programme focuses on that tool.

Our compliance team is strict. How is data handled?

Data rules are agreed before the first session. Exercises use masked or non-sensitive files, and the programme covers approved tools, what must never go into a public model and how output is reviewed, framed around the DPDP Act and your internal policy. It is not legal advice.

Do participants need to know coding?

No. The business tracks are entirely no-code. A separate technical track covers APIs, agents and AI coding tools for IT and product teams.

How long is the programme and what does it cost?

Formats range from a half-day starter to a six-to-twelve-week academy. Pricing depends on team size, format and customisation, and is quoted after a free scoping call. NDAs, GST invoicing and vendor onboarding are handled through Skillopedia LLP.

Do participants get a certificate?

Yes. Participants who complete the hands-on exercises receive a certificate of completion.

Do you also train teams in Thane, Goregaon and the rest of the MMR?

Yes. On-site sessions run across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including Thane, Goregaon, Malad, Vashi and Belapur. The programme is the same; the exercises are built on each team's own work, and teams split across several offices can combine in-person and live online sessions.
