Generative AI Training for Leaders in Dubai: board briefings and CXO working sessions
Hitesh Motwani
Anthropic Claude Certified Trainer · Author, Generative AI 360°
Leaders in Dubai do not need another overview of what ChatGPT can do. They need to know which three things their function should do with AI this quarter, what it will cost, what can go wrong under UAE data rules, and who owns it.
That is what this programme is built for. I have trained more than 100 group leaders and chairmen and briefed more than 200 CMOs and CXOs on AI, including the Chairman and CXO leadership of Transworld Group, the Group Head Office CXO team at Al Ghurair Group and the founder and CXO team at Jeebly. Leaders use the tools themselves in the room, on their own data, so the roadmap they leave with is one they believe in.
Generative AI for leaders, in plain terms: it is not learning to code. It is learning enough about what AI does well, where it fails and what it costs to make good investment, risk and people decisions, and being fluent enough with ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot to use it for your own analysis and board preparation.

Short answer
Generative AI training for leaders in Dubai is a private programme for chairmen, boards and CXO teams that turns AI from a talking point into decisions. Hitesh Motwani runs it on your own business: every CXO leaves with a function-level AI roadmap, prioritised use cases and a 90-day plan, and the board leaves with a draft AI policy.

PROGRAMMES
Leadership AI programmes, durations and formats
Every programme is private to your leadership team and built on your own business, data and sector. Durations are typical; we shape them around board calendars.
| Programme | For | Duration | Level | Format | You leave with |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AI for Chairmen & Boards | Chairmen, board members, ruling and founding families | 2.5 hours | Executive | Private briefing, on-site in Dubai or the UAE | A shared board view of AI opportunity and risk, the questions to ask management, and a draft AI policy for the board to adopt. |
| AI for CXO Leadership Teams | CEO, CFO, COO, CMO, CHRO, CIO and their direct reports | 7 hours | Executive | One-day working session, extendable to two or three days | Every CXO leaves with a function-level AI roadmap, prioritised use cases and a 90-day plan, reviewed by peers in the room. |
| Microsoft Copilot for Leaders | Leaders whose organisation runs on Microsoft 365 | 3.5 hours | Executive | Half day, hands-on in your own tenant | Leaders who use Copilot daily for email, meeting follow-up, briefing packs and Excel analysis, and know what to expect from the rollout. |
| Claude for Leadership | CXOs, strategy, investment and board-prep teams | 3.5 hours | Executive | Half day, on-site or online | Claude Projects and Skills set up for board papers, investment analysis and executive decisions, with house rules on what data goes in. |
| Agentic AI in Action | CXO teams ready to move from pilots to automation | 7 hours | Executive to advanced | One day, strategy to working prototype | One leadership-chosen workflow taken from idea to a working agent prototype, with a build, buy or wait decision for the next five. |
WHAT YOU LEARN
What leaders learn in a generative AI programme
Nine modules, run on your own business. A one-day CXO session covers modules 1 to 6 and 9; the board briefing condenses modules 1, 3, 7 and 9.
Module 01: AI fundamentals for leaders
What large language models, copilots and agents actually do, where they fail, and the five terms every board member should be able to explain.
Module 02: Hands-on: AI for your own work
Each leader uses ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot on a real task: a board paper, a market scan, a P&L variance or a hard email. Fluency first, strategy second.
Module 03: Use-case discovery by function
A structured hunt for use cases in finance, sales, marketing, operations, HR and legal, scored on value, effort, data readiness and risk.
Module 04: AI governance, risk and UAE data rules
What DIFC Regulation 10 and the federal PDPL mean for AI use, which data must never be pasted into public tools, and who signs off what.
Module 05: AI ROI and investment decisions
How to judge an AI business case like any other capital decision: baseline, cost to run, time saved, risk reduced, and when to stop a pilot.
Module 06: Agents and automation
What changes when AI moves from answering questions to taking actions, and how to choose the first workflow worth automating.
Module 07: The board's role and the AI policy
Drafting the AI usage policy, approval thresholds and reporting the board should expect from management each quarter.
Module 08: Leading adoption
Why most corporate AI rollouts stall after the licences are bought, and the champion, training and measurement model that keeps them moving.
Module 09: Capstone: the 90-day plan
Each CXO presents a function-level roadmap and 90-day plan to peers, who challenge it before it goes to the CEO.
HANDS-ON, NOT A DEMO
What a leadership AI session in Dubai looks like
This is a working session, not a lecture. Leaders bring real decisions, use AI on them in the room and leave with documents they can circulate the next morning.
YOU BRING
- One live decision or report per leader
- Your licensed AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot
- Last quarter's priorities or strategy deck
- Your current IT and data policies, if any
WE BUILD IN THE ROOM
- A use-case bank scored by value, effort and risk
- Board-paper and analysis prompts tested on your material
- A function-level roadmap for every CXO
- A draft AI usage policy for the board
YOU LEAVE WITH
- A prioritised AI roadmap per function
- A 90-day plan with owners and measures
- A draft AI policy aligned to DIFC or PDPL rules
- A one-page summary for the Chairman or board
BEFORE AND AFTER
What changes when a leadership team is trained on generative AI
Patterns from leadership sessions in the UAE and India. The technology is the same for everyone; the difference is whether leaders decide.
| Task | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| AI strategy | AI is a slide in the strategy deck with no owner and no budget. | Each function has three prioritised use cases, an owner and a 90-day plan the CEO has signed off. |
| Board preparation | Board packs take days of manual summarising and formatting. | Leaders use Claude or Copilot to draft summaries, variance notes and Q&A prep, then review and sign off. |
| Management dashboards | CXOs wait for analysts to build a view of the data. | Leaders query their own data and build CXO dashboards, as Transworld’s team did on shipping and logistics data. |
| AI risk | Staff paste customer data into free tools because no one said not to. | A board-approved AI policy, approved tools and clear rules under DIFC Regulation 10 or the PDPL. |
| Vendor pitches | Every AI vendor demo looks impressive and leaders cannot compare them. | A shared scoring method for build, buy or wait decisions, applied the same way across functions. |
| Adoption | Licences are bought, usage drops after a month. | Leaders model daily use, champions are named and adoption is reported to the board each quarter. |

LEADERSHIP AI IN DUBAI
Why Dubai's leaders are being trained on AI now
The UAE public sector is training at scale. Digital Dubai’s AI+ programme, launched in April 2026, is training 50,000 Dubai Government employees, the Dubai AI Academy is training 10,000 professionals, and the UAE and MBZUAI partnership announced in May 2026 supports agentic AI training for 80,000 federal employees. Private-sector boards are being asked the obvious question: what is our plan?
The risk of leaders not being trained is rarely a missed opportunity. It is staff using unapproved tools on confidential data, pilots that never reach production and AI budgets approved without a way to measure them. A trained leadership team sets the rules, picks the first use cases and asks the right questions of vendors.
Governance is local. DIFC firms fall under the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 and Regulation 10, which addresses personal data processed by autonomous and AI systems. Most other UAE businesses fall under the federal PDPL, Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, and government entities follow their own policies. Your AI policy has to reflect the regime you are actually under.
What the board receives
- A draft AI usage policy, aligned to DIFC or PDPL rules
- A prioritised use-case list per function
- A 90-day plan with owners, budget and measures
- Approved tools and data rules for staff
- Quarterly AI reporting the board should expect

FAQ
Generative AI training for leaders: questions
What is generative AI training for leaders?
It is a private programme that gives chairmen, boards and CXOs enough hands-on fluency with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot to make sound decisions about AI strategy, investment, risk and adoption. It is about decisions, not coding.
How is it different from AI training for staff?
Staff training builds daily productivity skills. Leadership training covers what only leaders decide: which use cases to fund, which risks to accept, which tools to approve, who owns adoption and how the board measures progress.
What does each CXO leave with?
A function-level AI roadmap, prioritised use cases scored on value, effort and risk, and a 90-day plan with owners and measures, challenged by peers in the room before it reaches the CEO.
What does the board get?
A draft AI usage policy aligned to the DIFC or federal PDPL rules that apply to you, a short list of questions to ask management and a quarterly reporting model for AI progress.
How long is the leadership AI programme?
A board briefing takes about two and a half hours. The CXO leadership programme is one full day (about 7 hours) and can extend to two or three days. Copilot and Claude sessions for leaders are half days.
Do leaders need technical knowledge?
No. The programme assumes no technical background. Leaders use AI on their own work from the first hour, and technical terms are explained in plain business language.
Which AI tools are covered?
The ones your organisation licenses or is evaluating: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini. Leaders also learn how to compare tools and vendors on the same criteria.
Does the programme cover AI governance in the UAE?
Yes. It covers the DIFC Data Protection Law and Regulation 10 for DIFC firms, the federal PDPL for most others, and what that means for which data can go into which tools.
Is the session confidential?
Yes. Every leadership programme is private to your organisation, and sensitive material is used only in approved tools. Sessions can run without any confidential data if your policy requires it.
Can it be delivered on-site in Dubai?
Yes. Sessions run on-site in Dubai and across the UAE, at your office or an offsite venue, or live online on Gulf Standard Time.
