AI Agents Training in Dubai: build agentic AI that does real work, safely
Hitesh Motwani
Anthropic Claude Certified Trainer · Author, Generative AI 360°
An AI agent is software that is given a goal, a set of tools and permission to act: it reads the inbox, checks the system, drafts the reply and asks a human before it sends. That is a different skill from prompting, and most teams in Dubai are being asked to build agents before anyone has shown them how to do it safely.
My signature programme, Agentic AI in Action, takes a team from strategy to a working prototype. I have run agentic AI and MCP programmes with e-intelligence and upGrad, a CXO programme on generative and agentic AI for Khadamat & Co, the Government of Umm Al Quwain’s company, and technical app-build labs for HP and CNH Industrial.
This page sets out the programmes, hours and formats, what your team builds, the governance rules that apply in the UAE, and answers to the questions buyers ask most.

PROGRAMMES
AI agents training programmes, durations and formats
Every programme is private to your organisation and built on your own work. Durations are typical; we adjust them to your team.
| Programme | For | Duration | Level | Format | You leave with |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agentic AI Leader Briefing | Chairmen, CXOs and heads of function | 2.5 hours | Executive | Private briefing, on-site or online | Leaders who can tell an agent from an automation, pick the first two agent use cases and set the approval and risk rules before anything is built. |
| Business Agent-Building Day | Operations, HR, finance, sales and AI champions | 7 hours | Intermediate, no code | On-site full day | Each team builds a working no-code agent in Copilot Studio, ChatGPT or Claude, with a human approval step and a written test log. |
| Technical Agent Lab | Developers, data and ML engineers, IT and automation teams | 21 hours | Advanced | Three days, on-site or online | Agents built with n8n, Make or Power Automate, LangChain and LlamaIndex, Claude with MCP connectors and Claude Code subagents, with evaluation and logging. |
| Agent Pilot Sprint | One cross-functional team with a named business owner | 16 hours | Applied | Four half-day sessions over two to four weeks | One agent taken from workflow map to a governed pilot on real (approved) data, with a go or no-go review for leadership. |
WHAT YOU LEARN
What your team learns in agentic AI training
Seven modules. The business day covers modules 1 to 5 without code; the technical lab covers all seven with code; the leader briefing covers modules 1, 2 and 6.
Module 01: Agents explained
What an AI agent is, how it differs from a chatbot and from rule-based automation, and the four parts every agent has: goal, instructions, tools and memory.
Module 02: Choosing the right first agent
Mapping a real workflow step by step and scoring candidates on volume, risk and data access, so the first agent is useful and safe rather than impressive and fragile.
Module 03: Building no-code agents
Copilot Studio agents, ChatGPT agents and projects, and Claude with Projects and connectors, built on participants' own process with their own documents.
Module 04: Connecting tools and systems
Workflow automation with n8n, Make and Power Automate; Claude connectors and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for linking agents to email, files, CRM and databases.
Module 05: Human approval points and guardrails
Where a person must approve, what the agent may never do, input and output checks, and test cases that try to break the agent before a customer does.
Module 06: Governance, logging and UAE data rules
Audit logs, owners, access rights and what can leave the building, under the DIFC Data Protection Law, Regulation 10 or the federal PDPL.
Module 07: Engineering agents
For technical teams: LangChain and LlamaIndex for retrieval and tool use, Claude Code subagents, GitHub Copilot, evaluation sets and moving a prototype towards production.
HANDS-ON, NOT A DEMO
What a hands-on AI agents training session in Dubai looks like
Every team brings one real workflow. By the end of the session that workflow has a working agent, a human checkpoint and a log of what the agent did.
YOU BRING
- One repetitive, multi-step workflow per team (a request queue, a report, a follow-up)
- Sample inputs with sensitive data removed or approved
- Access to your licensed tools: Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, n8n or Power Automate
WE BUILD IN THE ROOM
- A workflow map showing which steps the agent does and which a person approves
- A working agent connected to at least one tool or data source
- A test sheet of normal, edge and hostile cases, run and scored
YOU LEAVE WITH
- A working agent prototype your team owns
- A one-page agent design card: goal, tools, limits, approver
- A governance checklist for logging, access and UAE data rules
- A ranked list of the next agent use cases
BEFORE AND AFTER
AI agents Dubai teams build first
The best first agents are boring, frequent and easy to check. These are the patterns teams build most often in training.
| Task | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Inbox and request triage | Staff read and route every shared-mailbox request by hand. | An agent classifies each request, drafts the reply and routes it, and a person approves anything sent outside. |
| Management reporting | Analysts copy figures from three systems into the same weekly report. | An agent pulls the data, builds the draft report and flags anomalies for the analyst to check. |
| Sales follow-up | Leads go cold because follow-ups depend on memory. | An agent drafts follow-ups from CRM notes and meeting summaries and queues them for the account owner. |
| HR and policy questions | HR answers the same leave and policy questions every day. | An agent answers from approved policy documents only, cites the clause and hands complex cases to a person. |
| Procurement and vendor checks | Quotes are compared in spreadsheets, line by line. | An agent extracts terms from each quote into one table and highlights gaps against the specification. |
| Engineering tasks | Developers lose hours on tests, documentation and repetitive fixes. | Claude Code subagents and GitHub Copilot handle defined tasks while engineers review every change. |

AGENTIC AI IN THE UAE
Why agentic AI needs training before it needs budget
The UAE government has made agentic AI a workforce priority. On 21 May 2026 the UAE and MBZUAI announced a partnership supporting training for 80,000 federal employees in agentic AI, and Digital Dubai’s AI+ programme, launched in April 2026, is training 50,000 Dubai Government employees.
Private employers face the same question with less structure: who in the team can design an agent, decide what it may do on its own and prove what it did afterwards? Buying agent licences before answering that question is the most common and most expensive mistake I see.
Agents also raise the stakes on data. An agent that reads email or updates a CRM is processing personal data automatically. DIFC firms have Regulation 10 under the DIFC Data Protection Law, which addresses autonomous and semi-autonomous systems; most other businesses fall under the federal PDPL (Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). Every agent built in training is designed with these rules in view.
The agent design card
- Goal: the one outcome the agent owns
- Tools: the systems it may read and write
- Limits: what it must never do on its own
- Approver: the person who signs off before it acts
- Log: where every action is recorded and who reviews it

FAQ
AI agents training questions
What is agentic AI?
Agentic AI is AI that is given a goal and the tools to pursue it: it plans steps, uses software such as email, files or a CRM, checks its own progress and acts, usually with a human approving key decisions. An AI agent is one such system built for a specific job.
What is the difference between AI agents and automation?
Automation follows fixed rules you write in advance: if this, then that. An AI agent reads unstructured inputs, decides which steps to take and adapts when something unexpected happens. In practice the best designs combine both: automation for the fixed steps and an agent for the judgement, with a person approving anything risky.
Who is AI agents training for?
Three groups: leaders who must decide where agents are allowed, business teams who will build no-code agents in Copilot Studio, ChatGPT or Claude, and technical teams who build with n8n, LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP and Claude Code.
Do participants need to code?
No for the leader briefing and the business agent-building day, which use no-code tools. Yes for the technical agent lab, where participants should be comfortable with Python or JavaScript and APIs.
Which platforms does the training cover?
Microsoft Copilot Studio, ChatGPT agents and projects, Claude with Projects, connectors and MCP, Claude Code subagents, n8n, Make, Power Automate, LangChain and LlamaIndex. We build on the platforms your organisation already licenses.
How long is AI agents training?
A leader briefing takes about 2.5 hours, the business agent-building day about 7 hours and the technical agent lab about 21 hours over three days. The agent pilot sprint runs as four half-day sessions over two to four weeks.
How do you keep AI agents safe?
Every agent built in training has a defined goal, a list of permitted tools, explicit limits, a human approval point before external or irreversible actions, test cases that try to break it, and a log of every action. That is the governance layer most demos skip.
Which data rules apply to AI agents in the UAE?
DIFC firms follow the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 and Regulation 10, which covers autonomous and semi-autonomous systems. Most other businesses follow the federal PDPL, Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. Government entities follow their own policies.
Will we leave with a working agent?
Yes. The business day and technical lab each end with a working prototype on your own workflow, and the pilot sprint takes one agent to a governed pilot with a go or no-go review.
