Red flags: “Anthropic certified trainer” or “official Anthropic partner” claims you cannot verify; guaranteed productivity, job or salary numbers before anyone has seen your work; a syllabus that never mentions Projects, Skills or Claude Code; and exercises on personal accounts with real customer data.
Credentials, explained
Is there an Anthropic-certified Claude trainer?
No. Anthropic does not certify trainers, so no trainer in India, including the author of this guide, can honestly call themselves an “Anthropic certified Claude trainer”. Here is what does exist.
Anthropic Academy courses
- Free, self-paced courses from Anthropic’s education team, such as Claude 101, Claude Code 101, Introduction to Claude Cowork, Introduction to Model Context Protocol and AI Fluency
- Completion certificates show you finished a course; they are not a professional credential
- A good, free foundation before or after hands-on training
Claude Certified Architect
- Anthropic launched Claude Certified Architect, Foundations on 12 March 2026 with its Claude Partner Network
- Anthropic describes it as a technical exam for solution architects building production applications with Claude
- It certifies an individual’s technical skill, not their ability to train others
- Anthropic has said more certifications will follow, so check its site for the current list
What this means for buyers: judge a Claude trainer on evidence you can check: a named trainer, a syllabus that matches current Claude features, sessions on your own work, and references from teams like yours. Third-party “Claude certification” courses can be useful, but the certificate comes from the course provider, not from Anthropic.

Why Claude training in India leans towards code
When Anthropic opened its Bengaluru office on 16 February 2026, it described India as the second-largest market for Claude.ai after the United States, and said nearly half of Claude usage in India involves computer and mathematical work such as building applications and deploying software (Business Today report).
