Best AI Courses in Bangalore (2026-27): Top 10 with Fees and Campus Days

Quick answer: for most working managers, the best AI course in Bangalore right now is IIMBx’s Professional Certificate in AI for Managers from IIM Bangalore (10 months, about five hours a week, live sessions you can attend on the IIMB campus or online, ₹2,25,000 plus GST, next batch from 27 November 2026). Engineers who want depth should compare IISc’s Advanced Certification in Generative AI and LLMs (Sunday classes from 22 November) with IIIT Bangalore’s agentic AI programme. Senior leaders who can spare a week can do IIM Bangalore’s five-day AI Strategy course on campus. Teams who need AI working in their own jobs get more from live, hands-on training on their own work.

Ranking is editorial opinion. We weighed the depth of the AI content, fit for people with a full-time job, the weight of the certificate, real time in a Bengaluru classroom or campus, the next intake date and cost. No provider paid to be listed, and we publish no ratings, placement figures or salary claims.

Four kinds of course

Institute, executive, engineering lab or classroom: what “AI course in Bangalore” really means

One search returns a ten-month IIM certificate, a five-day campus programme, a two-year engineering track and a four-month classroom batch. They differ far more in time, fee and audience than in syllabus.

Institute certificates (entries 1, 2, 5, 7)

  • IISc, IIM Bangalore and IIIT Bangalore names on the certificate
  • Mostly live online, with one to four days on campus
  • ₹1.4 lakh to ₹3.8 lakh including GST
  • Six to ten months, so plan around your appraisal cycle

Short executive programmes (entries 3, 6)

  • Five full days at IIM Bangalore, residential or not
  • Strategy for senior leaders, or hands-on GenAI and agents for managers
  • Dated intakes, so you can book leave

Engineering lab (entry 8)

  • Scaler’s Saturday lab in Electronic City, plus weekday online classes
  • Two years of coding, agents and LLM apps
  • An interview to get in; not for non-coders

Classroom institutes and in-house training (entries 4, 9, 10)

  • Classrooms on MG Road, in Whitefield, Electronic City and BTM
  • Or a trainer working with your team on its own documents and tools
  • Faster feedback and more practice per hour

3

IIM Bangalore: Artificial Intelligence Strategy (Batch 9)

IIM Bangalore5 daysOn campus
Best for: senior managers and business heads with 10 to 15+ years of experience who need an AI strategy, not coding

A five-day, 25-hour open programme on the IIM Bangalore campus, residential or non-residential. It treats AI as a general-purpose technology and works through prediction problems, a simulation and risk, so leaders leave with a way to decide where AI fits in their business.

  • AI and the prediction problem
  • An “AI in action” simulation
  • Risks of AI and how to mitigate them

Pros

  • Fully in person, with a dated batch

Hitesh Motwani: live AI training for Bengaluru teams

Best for: teams who want AI working in their daily jobs, not a certificate

This is live corporate training, not an institute course, so it sits at number four. If you want a credential for your own career, the IIM Bangalore, IISc and IIIT-B programmes above are the better answer. Where this earns its place is with teams. People bring their own emails, reports, spreadsheets, code and decks; they build the workflow during the session and leave with something they use the next morning. Across a team, that saved time compounds, and the organisation executes faster.

Sessions are shaped around the work in the room: engineering teams on Claude Code and AI agents, business teams on ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini, and leaders on where AI pays off and what the risks are. Sessions run at your office by arrangement or live online.

Formats

Cost: quoted per engagement. Certificate: this is training, not an institute certificate. Disclosure: this guide is published on Hitesh Motwani’s own site.

5

IIIT Bangalore: Executive Post Graduate Programme in Applied AI and Agentic AI

IIIT-BOnlineDeadline 31 Oct
Best for: graduates who want an agent-focused programme from a Bengaluru institute at a moderate fee

A seven-month online programme from IIIT Bangalore, whose campus is in Electronics City Phase 1. Teaching is live and recorded, and Python and SQL are taught, with an optional five-week readiness bootcamp for people who are rusty.

Watch out for

  • No campus classes are listed
  • The “Microsoft-recognised certificate” is not a Microsoft exam; GST treatment is not stated

Format: live and recorded, 7 months (30 weeks). Fee: ₹1,40,000 total, EMI from ₹6,500 a month. Certificate: from IIIT Bangalore, plus executive alumni status. Dates: admission deadline 31 October 2026; start date not shown.

IIM Bangalore5 daysFeb or Mar 2027
Best for: mid-senior managers who want to see how GenAI apps and agents are actually built, in one week on campus

A five-day programme on the IIM Bangalore campus that mixes strategy with building: participants work with LangChain, agent frameworks and SQL agents as well as governance. Two batches are listed for early 2027, so you can plan leave around year-end.

8

Scaler: Advanced Program in AI & Agentic Systems

Electronic City labSaturdays2 years
Best for: engineers who want to write a lot of code with other people in a room, every week

A two-year hybrid programme: two weekday online sessions and a full Saturday in Scaler’s campus lab in Electronic City, three hours of theory and three of building. Being able to reach the campus on Saturdays is a condition of joining, so it is only realistic if you live or work in south Bengaluru or can travel there weekly.

What you learn

  • Python and coding agents
  • LLM apps and evaluations
  • Backend engineering and APIs
  • Agentic and multi-agent systems, then an ML engineering or forward deployed engineer track

Pros

  • The most in-person build time of any course here
  • A small cohort (40 seats listed)

  • By far the highest fee on this list and a two-year commitment
  • A new programme; the page says outcome figures come from other Scaler programmes and are not a guarantee

Format: hybrid, 2 years, about 8-12 hours a week. Fee: ₹15,34,400, EMI from ₹16,666 a month (GST not stated). Certificate: Scaler certificate (an optional BITS Pilani online M.Tech is separate). Dates: first batch October 2026; every applicant is interviewed.

  • Salary claims on the page are unsourced; the FAQ itself says it does not guarantee a job

Format: classroom, 4 months (240+ hours) plus a month of projects and preparation; weekdays 8:00-10:30 am or weekends. Fee: ₹45,000 including taxes (Elite plan). Certificate: Advanced Certification in Data Science & AI from iHUB IIT Roorkee on the Elite plan, plus Intellipaat and NSDC. Dates: weekend batches 31 October, 7 and 14 November 2026.

Source: Intellipaat Bangalore course page, checked October 2026.

Also worth knowing: IIM Bangalore’s long Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence programme (hybrid, ₹8,65,000 excl. GST) is the deepest IIMB option, but Batch 17 is already running until March 2027. IIIT Bangalore’s Executive Diploma in Machine Learning & AI (12 months, ₹3,10,000) suits people who want broad ML before generative AI. We could not confirm current AI course details on the own sites of several other Bengaluru institutes, so they are not listed.

Disclosure: this guide is published by Hitesh Motwani, whose live training is entry 4. Every other entry was checked on its provider’s own page in October 2026 and links to its source. Fees and batch dates change, so confirm on the provider’s page before you pay.

AI classes in Bangalore by area: where each course meets

In Bengaluru, the venue can matter as much as the syllabus. A weekly Saturday lab in Electronic City suits people in south Bengaluru far better than those in the north of the city. The institute programmes, by contrast, are mostly live online with only a few days on campus, so for them the class slot matters more than the address.

Ask before you pay

  • When does the next batch start, and when do applications close?
  • Are the campus days mandatory, and who pays for travel and stay?
  • Who teaches the live sessions: institute faculty or partner mentors?
  • What exactly does the certificate say, and who issues it?

Ways to cut the cost

  • Ask your employer: many Bengaluru L&D budgets cover IIM and IISc executive programmes
  • Book early: both five-day IIM Bangalore programmes show early-bird fees
  • Start with a free course to check you enjoy the work (see our free AI courses with a certificate)
  • If a whole team needs skills, one in-house programme usually costs less per head
Syllabus checklist

What a good AI course should cover in 2026

Bengaluru has no shortage of AI syllabi, and many still read like 2023: a long list of algorithms and a chatbot at the end. Use this checklist to judge any course, including the ones above.

Use AI well

  • Prompting with context, examples and a clear output format
  • Today’s assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini) and when each fits
  • Working with files, data and long documents
  • Checking outputs for errors and made-up facts

Build with AI

  • AI agents: tool use, MCP and multi-step workflows
  • RAG: answering from your own documents
  • Evaluations, so you know when an AI feature is good enough
  • A capstone on a realistic task from your work

Use it safely

  • What data may and may not go into a tool
  • India’s DPDP Act and your company’s policies
  • Client confidentiality, especially in services firms and GCCs
  • Human review before anything ships or goes to a client
How to choose

How to choose an AI course in Bangalore when you already have a job

Four questions settle most decisions: do you code, how many hours a week can you give for months, does the institute name matter to your employer, and are you learning for yourself or for a team?

If you are learning for your career

  • Managers: IIMBx AI for Managers, or a five-day IIM Bangalore programme if you can take a week off
  • Engineers: IISc for model depth, IIIT-B for agents on a budget, Scaler for in-person build time
  • Early career, tight budget: a classroom batch such as Intellipaat, after checking the syllabus
  • Not sure yet: try the free 8-week path below first

If you are buying for a team

  • Long programmes suit a few future specialists, not whole teams
  • Look for practice on your own documents, code and tools
  • Ask how data privacy and client confidentiality are handled
  • Measure results in hours saved on real tasks, not attendance

Online or on campus?

Most institute programmes here are live online with one to four days on campus. Those days are good for networking; the weekly slot is what decides whether you finish.

Is an IISc or IIM certificate worth it?

It is a strong signal on a CV and in an appraisal, and live classes keep you on track. It does not guarantee a job or a raise; what you build during the course is the real proof.

The case for live team training

Most of the value of AI at work comes from small, repeated tasks: a weekly report, a test plan, a client email. Teams get there faster when a trainer helps them pick the right tasks and build on their own work.

If you would rather hire a trainer than take a course, see our separate list of AI trainers in Bangalore, or ask about a session for your team.

Sample learning path

An 8-week AI starter path before you commit lakhs

About three hours a week, alongside your job. Everything here is free, and it tells you which paid programme, if any, is worth it for you.

1

Weeks 1-2: Use AI on your own work

Pick three tasks from your week, such as a status report, a long email thread and a spreadsheet, and do them with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini. Note where the output needed fixing.

2

Weeks 3-4: Learn to prompt properly

Take a free prompt course and redo your three tasks with context, examples and a clear format. Keep the prompts that work in a shared note.

3

Weeks 5-6: Try an agent or automation

Build one small multi-step workflow, no-code first. If you code, connect one tool to an agent or try an agentic coding assistant on a side project.

4

Weeks 7-8: Decide on a programme

You now know what you enjoy and what your job needs. Pick a programme from the list before the November deadlines, or bring live training to your team.

FAQ

AI courses in Bangalore: questions answered

For managers, IIMBx’s Professional Certificate in AI for Managers from IIM Bangalore is the strongest all-round choice: ten months at about five hours a week, live sessions you can attend on campus, ₹2,25,000 plus GST, with the next batch starting on 27 November 2026. Engineers should compare IISc’s Advanced Certification in Generative AI and LLMs with IIIT Bangalore’s agentic AI programme. For teams, live training on their own work usually pays off fastest.

Published fees range from ₹45,000 including taxes for Intellipaat’s classroom course to ₹15,34,400 for Scaler’s two-year programme. Most institute certificates sit between ₹1,40,000 (IIIT Bangalore) and ₹2,50,000 plus GST (IISc), and IIM Bangalore’s five-day programmes cost ₹1,25,000 to ₹1,57,500 plus GST. Some classroom institutes, such as BIA, do not publish fees.

The IIM and IISc programmes are built for people who already have jobs, and IIMBx states that placement support is not available. Classroom institutes advertise placement assistance, but their own FAQs say they do not guarantee jobs. No course can promise a job or a salary, so judge a course by its syllabus and the projects you will build.

Yes. IIM Bangalore’s AI Strategy programme involves no coding, and most day-to-day AI at work with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini needs none. IIMBx’s certificate includes some Python, and the IISc, IIIT-B and Scaler programmes expect or teach programming, so check each syllabus.

From five days (IIM Bangalore’s campus programmes) to two years (Scaler). Most institute certificates in Bangalore run six to ten months at about five hours a week. You can learn to use AI tools well at work in a few weeks of practice on your own tasks.

Most programmes on this list are designed for working professionals and ask for one to three years of experience. Freshers on a budget can look at classroom options such as Intellipaat, which targets 0-3 years’ experience, or start with free courses before paying. Our guide to free AI courses with a certificate is a good first step.

For a team, a short, live programme built around your own work usually beats sending people on long courses. Look for hands-on practice on your own documents, code and tools, a session for leaders and clear data rules.
